They met as children in the forest that day.  While being raised to have a face of stone, it was still impossible to hide all the wonder of her from his eyes. CHAPTER FIVE: Shadowville, a Freak-infested city underneath the Sahara sands.  It is the largest city for Freaks in the world and the founders constructed a ceiling wide enough to keep the sand from burying the whole city and its citizens.  Every now and then though, earth-type Freaks have to work together to fill in the cracks of the earthen ceiling when too much sand slips through at times.  Doing that job is the only excuse Freaks use to trust each other.  Besides that, it's a dark world, a black market, and a constant fight to keep homes down here.  No one dares to even say a kind "hello" to each other on the streets.
